⊗ Macanudo has re-blended and re-packaged the Macanudo Inspirado Black cigars for 2017. A balance of art and science, Macanudo Inspirado Black is part inspiration and part experimentation. Macanudo Inspirado Black blend has undergone a lot of changes, the wrapper now used in this blend is a dark rich Connecticut Broadleaf stalk cut. What this means is that the Connecticut Broadleaf plants are harvested with the leaves on the plant allowing the leaves to ripen on the stalk delivering more nutrients to the leaves, resulting in a bolder richer flavor. The binder and fillers have also been replaced, an Ecuadorian Sumatran binder and a core of all rich Nicaraguan tobaccos harvested in Estelí were used. The result is a beautiful balance of bold, peppery notes intertwined with a subtle undertone of sweet earth that delivers a rich full bodied flavor profile. Bottom line, the Macanudo Inspirado Black is a bolder richer and full bodied cigar that’s sure to please, so Macanudo fans rejoice!
Powerful and rich, Macanudo Black is a full-bodied blend utilizing an attractive dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. With a complex blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers, expect flavors of cocoa, toast, and caramel.
⊗ Introduced in the 1970s, Macanudo Maduro cigars were made with the choicest cigar wrapper leaves grown in the San Andres Tuxtla Valley of Mexico. In response to the growing demand for full-flavored cigars, an even richer Macanudo Maduro cigar was developed and introduced in 1999.
Today, Macanudo Maduro cigars are crafted in the Dominican Republic with the very best Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers. Even grainier, oilier and more flavorful than the Maduro wrapper leaves that were grown for Macanudo in the San Andres Tuxtla Valley, the Maduro wrappers now used by Macanudo are truly exceptional. In fact, only two of the many tobacco farms in the Connecticut River Valley yield Broadleaf tobacco leaves that meet the high standards for Macanudo Maduro cigars.
Like a rare port wine, a Macanudo Maduro cigar has a lingering, rich flavor that lends itself to moments of the most tasteful relaxation.
